The year costs five months for twelve. The week costs more over a year than the month does, deliberately: it exists so a workspace can be on a paid plan for a fortnight without committing to anything longer.
Each paid workspace owns its own subscription, so one account can hold a Team workspace, a Pro workspace and a free one at the same time, billed separately. What that costs you is that upgrading lifts the one workspace you upgraded and no others.
